An excellent carnation for garden beds or pots, Super Trouper White sports loads of fully double, wonderfully fragrant, velvety pristine white flowers with a heavenly spicy clove scent that are excellent for cutting and use in floral arrangements. The flowers come in spring and then continue sporadically through summer standing out nicely against the backdrop of blue-green evergreen foliage.

An upright grower to 14 inches tall and about a 12 inches wide, Super Trouper White Dianthus is ideal for use as an accent or grouping in smaller garden spaces or as a border along paths and walkways or surrounding patios or garden beds. A fine addition to fragrance gardens, cut flower gardens, cottage gardens, sunny perennial gardens and white theme gardens.

Growing Preferences
Dianthus are very easy to grow in most any moist to somewhat dry well-drained soil of average to low fertility and full to mostly sun. Good soil drainage is essential for hardiness. Some shade is tolerated however flowering will be diminished in too much shade. We suggest at least 5 hours of direct sunlight for best flowering and overall performance. Plant with the top of the root ball even with ground level. Care and maintenance are minimal. Spent flowers can be deadheaded. Feed in spring with an organic plant food.
